The Lions Home for the Elderly developed a scheme that is to be built in one of the mature estates in Singapore, Bishan. The design of the Nursing Home was originally controversial, as it was proposed to be built within a mature housing estate with concerns about noise and safety. The project went through several resident consultations and design was evolved with discussions with the resident commitee. The Design aims to introduce nature into nursing homes, which helps promotes health and well being.
