If there was one city I wouldn't go back to unless I really have to, it would definately be London. Fair enough it has many more things to see and do compared to so many other cities in Britain, but it has got to be the most deadliest and unhealthy city I have ever been to. Majority of the subway is underground, which meant I feel burried most of the time. the underground stinks because of poor ventilation and not to mention has the furnishing of a public toilet interior. The buses were so slow because it had to share the street with the cars, making travelling around London a total nightmare. The city didn't have enough public space for breathing air, and is completely centralize. You could feel a selfish concentration in the center, neglecting small interesting areas in the edge of the city to rot. Fair enough it is an old city and it is reasonable for things to not work right, but the city can age all it wants, definately not a city I would like to come back to.
The moment that completely destroyed it all was the fact that one of the main lines broke down for on the way to the airport. They mentioned to take a longer route which would take around 1hr40mins to get to the airport from Brixton, however another line broke down as well thus we had to take the bus which was so slow it felt like I was there for an eternity. Reached the airport in 2hrs15mins, and of course, missed our flight. Thankfully, we were flying with British Airways who didn't charge us anything to catch the next flight available home. God Bless British Airways.
Cities can't be too big. Stop being cruel and start building smaller, liveable cities.

Despite being the capital, I feel Amsterdam has so many good qualities of a city. The car is almost non-existence, because majority of the road prioritize the public transport (buses and trams) and cycling. It was really refreshing to see cycling as the culture to get around rather than driving a car. I do hope to see more of these in new cities to come!

Singapore Day at London was Incredible! Cried when the Song 'Home' was played. Feeling so close to home was really incredible, seeing and tasting so many familiar dishes and activities! It actually felt like Singapore because it was the first day it was so HOT in the UK! Also met Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, which was such an honour! Can't wait to be back!
